Research of own media product

In the research i did of media product, which was the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the main location of the film is the school Hogwarts. which is castle. It looks like this:

If i did a spin – off of Harry Potter, i would include the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The castle i would use would be this:

It is a hilltop castle and it is the Hohenzollern Castle. It is located in in the south of Stuttgart, in Germany. I chose it because it looks similar to Hogwarts.

Another location is the black lake, which looks like this:

A lake i would choose to use would be this one:

It is a Black Lake named the Crno Lake, which is located in the Durmitor National Park,  in Northern Montenegro. I chose this location because it it  decent size, has a sort of a similar scenery to it and i think it is a good choice to be used as the black lake.

Another location is the dark forest, which looks like this:

The forest i would used to be used as the forbidden forest would be a part in Delamere forest.

I chose it as i think it really has a similar look to the forbidden forest. I would film the scenes, later in the day and maybe in a autumn month, so it looks dark and a bit misty.

Another location needed to be filmed will be a abandoned house. The one in Harry Potter looks like this:

You cant see it very good, as it is night in the film. It’s the tall one of the right if you can see it.The one i would use in my film is:

It is located in the mountains, and this is the sort of house i would like to use. I can imagine the scene being filmed in this house.

Another location or scene that is in Harry Potter, is the maze that is used for a Tri-Wizard task. It looks like this:

A maze that i would use to film the scene would look like this:

I chose this as it has a similar look to the ones in the Harry Potter film. And i think it also looks the same complication, though the one in Harry Potter is obviously much bigger. I would film the scene, in the later day, so its dark and has a more of a scary feel, like the one in Harry Potter has.
